Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
Living a normal life with my wife Lyndsey Green and 2 children Jack & Ellie was something we and everyone takes for granted. Nearly 4 years ago my wife Lyndsey was diagnosed with MS. I must admit, I did not know much about MS at this point but the day we attended the hospital for what we believed was a routine check up, changed all of our lives. If you know my wife, she was a very active wife, mother and friend and to see her change over such a short period of time has been heart breaking for all of us. BUT Lyndsey as you all know is a fighter and although she has good days, more often than not, she has bad ones. Going out with friends, having friends round our house or even playing music is something that is not a given anymore. Lyndsey has had to change the way she lives which has had an impact on our children and things they can do/look forward to but as a family we are determined to fight this and not give up.
Me, my son Jack and my daughter Ellie are looking to complete this 50k challenge throughout May to help not only raise funds to help find a cure for people who live with MS or families affected by this, but to also raise awareness to others who are not aware of the impact it has on people. Shaking legs, having to walk with a stick, having to take regular breaks when walking and not being able to enjoy going to places because of the noise, busyness is not something anyone asks for, but taking steps to allow some sort of normality is all we can do now.
Thank you for your time and support.

I’m taking part in The May 50K. I will be taking on 50km throughout May and leaving my limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis and better access to treatments!
There are over 130,000 people in the UK living with MS and I need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.
You can now support this work in the UK and around the World because The May 50K supports the UK MS Society and the MS International Federation. I’ve accepted the challenge to change lives.
Please make a donation to support my challenge.
