My Updates

I’m taking on 150km in May!
It’s been a couple of years since I have taken part in this challenge, but I am excited to share that I will be taking part in The May 50K 2025! 🎉 I may have overpromised, but i’m up for the challenge and am aiming to walk/jog 150km in May…
This is a great challenge for me personally as May is a busy month and it’s great to get outside, appreciate spring and do some exercise. 🏃♀️ The fact I have just got a puppy and it’s currently taking forever to cover any distance might make this harder, but also means I have to get out on daily walks with him! 🐶
From a fundraising perspective, I would appreciate any support to keep funding the important projects that MSIF delivers. (Of course I am biased, I work at MSIF!!) But with the cost of services ever increasing and charity budgets ever decreasing, extra funding could go a long way.
It could help us to produce important information resources helping people with MS across the globe to understand and manage their symptoms and better navigate life with MS. 📚
It could help to fund young researchers from low-middle income countries, who take new learnings back to their countries, helping to strengthen the MS research field and improve MS healthcare in low resourced countries. 🔬
Funds raised in The May 50K, can help us deliver vital training and support to MS organisations across the globe, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to improve access to MS healthcare and diagnosis in their countries. 🌐
There are 2.9million people across the globe living with MS. MSIF is bringing the world together with urgency to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of everybody affected by MS and to end MS forever. ✨
I know it’s never a good time to ask for donations, but any support no matter how small would be hugely appreciated. Thank you. 🙏
