Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K. I will be taking on 50km throughout May and leaving my limits behind to increase funding for vital MS research worldwide, improve access to effective treatment and support for everyone – no matter where they live.

There are over 2.8 million people living with MS and I need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

Research and global action are the keys to changing the future of MS, so I’ve accepted The May 50K challenge to change lives.

My Updates

First ride of The May 50K — finally underway

It took me 13 days to start, but this afternoon I finally got moving.

I completed my first ride for The May 50K: a 20-minute Low Impact Peloton session with Jenn Sherman. Joining me virtually was my friend Emily from the US. We hit start together, each in our own time zone, riding together from across the world.

The stats:

Distance : 5.87 miles (9.45 km)

Average speed : 15.9 mph (25.6 km/h)

It was a gentle ride. No records, no rush - just a moment to pause and begin.

Like many others, I had good intentions to start on Day 1. But life, work and travel got in the way. Today, I carved out a little space. Twenty minutes was enough to remind me why this challenge matters.

Every kilometre we ride supports people living with multiple sclerosis. I’m proud to take part in this global movement, one ride at a time.

If you’re moving this May too, thank you. Let’s keep going.
