Overwhelmed and proud! 🚀 The May 50K Mid-Month Update

Team,

I am writing this today with a heart full of gratitude and immense pride. We have officially reached the halfway mark of May, and looking at what we have achieved together so far is nothing short of
 overwhelming.
As an organization, we are absolutely crushing our targets:

💰 Fundraising: We have already raised £2,094.85 towards our £3,000 goal!

👣 Distance: Together, we have walked, run, or rolled an incredible 1,457 kilometers out of our 2,195 km target!

I am so incredibly happy and proud to belong to such an amazing organization filled with such great, dedicated people. Seeing everyone pull together for this cause means the world to me.

We are halfway through the month, and "halfway there" means it's time to keep the momentum going. Now is the time to grit our teeth, push through the fatigue, and keep moving forward. I am absolutely convinced that we will smash our final goals by the end of the month!

Whether you are logging kilometers, donating to support a team member, or spreading the word—every single contribution counts.

Mid-May Update: You guys are unstoppable! (And I’m moving the goalposts...) 🚀

We’re only nine days into May, and I’m beginning to wonder if you all have secret rocket boosters attached to your shoes or wheelchairs.

As of today, we have already smashed through the £1,500 mark and logged nearly 800 kilometers! To put that in perspective: that’s like traveling from London to Berlin, fueled entirely by careRing spirit (and perhaps a bit too much caffeine).

I am genuinely floored by the dedication of this team. Whether you’re a morning runner, a lunchtime walker, or a weekend "km-hoarder," what you’ve achieved in just over a week is nothing short of incredible.

However... with great progress comes great responsibility (from my side).

Because you’re making this look far too easy, and because I want to keep us all on our toes for the next three weeks, I’ve decided to do the only logical thing: I’m raising our fundraising goal to £3,000.

Think of it as a "Level 2" challenge. We’ve shown we can reach the summit; now let’s see if we can build a small summer house on top of it.

Thank you all for the sweat, the miles, and the amazing generosity. Let’s keep moving, keep rolling, and show MS that we’re just getting warmed up!

Welcome to the first day of our journey!

I have to admit, I am absolutely blown away by the passion of this team. Before we have even officially started tracking our kilometers, we have already reached our initial fundraising goal! This is a testament to the dedication and heart of our community. Thank you to everyone who has donated and joined the team so far.

Now, the real challenge begins. Reaching our financial goal was just the first step. Now, it’s time to put our movement into action. Over the next 31 days, let’s find out where our true limits are. Whether you are walking, running, or rolling, every kilometer we log brings us closer to a world without MS.
